This year's ParaGames football torunament was held at Hackney Marshes and featured teams from the London Boroughs.

The Southwark team was made up entirely of Cavendish School students from years 7, 8 & 9 and we are delighted that Jamie was voted Man of the Tournament.

Having lost their first game to Greenwich 1-0 the team went on to win their next six matches reaching the quarter final stage where they faced an impressive Hackney side who they eventually lost to by one goal to nil.

Teams from Hackney, Wandsworth, City of London and Kingston all won through to the semi-finals before a torrential downpour caused the pitches to become waterlogged and the event abandoned.

Our boys behaved impeccably throughout the day and were a credit to themselves, Cavendish School and Southwark.
