Since March we have faced disruption to the way we educate due to this pandemic and it is likely to continue into the early part of 2021. We have had to adapt our way of teaching, with even smaller classes and remote learning. We have implemented bubbles within bubbles, modified how we move around the school and minimised socialisation during break times. The wearing of masks, sanitising and washing of hands has become routine; the students’ cooperation with this has played an enormous part in keeping everyone safe. What we have in place is currently working so we will be continuing with this routine for the foreseeable future.
The New Year, 2021 is going to be challenging with these new variants and we are awaiting further advice from the Government and Department for Education. When this becomes available we will be writing to staff, parents and carers. I am sure with everyone continuing to be diligent we will overcome any future challenges this pandemic has in store.
Thank you everyone for your support, we hope you stay safe and well.
Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year.
From the Senior Leadership Team,
Sara, Debbie, Cheryl.
